Sunset on the Aggenstein

The sun setting on the Aggenstein in the Bavarian Allgäu (Al-goy) mountains in August 2024. I'd been down here in late May for an early alpine tour. We've climbed the Aggenstein so often over the years, but we'd never been up the neighbouring Breitenberg, a broad east-west ridge just below and north of the Aggenstein. So I came back in August to do some astrophotography.
